Hi! I am Eliza the creator of this film! I am a third year animation student in Bristol with a passion for storyboarding, concept art and storytelling. I love everything medieval (particularly the War of the Roses) which led to the creation of this short film.

The idea of the film came from an analysis of my favourite shorts - I noticed they usually revealed a hidden or often forgotten aspect of a particular period of history. When I applied this to the medieval period which was of natural interest to me my research gathered around monastic life which I think we forgot or simply fail to comprehend how large role of a role it played in everyday life. Though my film has strayed from medieval fact, this was the crutch of my film. The films main focus now is the silly and unexpected shenanigans of nuns on a 'holy' day of reflection.  ​​​
